GoDay terms of use

Last updated 3 October 2026

These terms cover your use of GoDay at godayapp.com, run by C9 Operations Pty Ltd, trading as C9 Apps (ABN 79 662 559 962). By using GoDay you agree to them. How we handle your information is on the privacy page.

A guide, not a safety service

GoDay turns weather forecasts into ratings to help you plan. A rating is not advice that a place or an activity is safe. Forecasts can be wrong, and GoDay can't see local hazards like rips, currents, closed trails, avalanche danger or lifts that aren't running. Always check official warnings (in Australia, the Bureau of Meteorology) and local conditions, follow lifeguards, rangers and local authorities, and stay within your limits. You're responsible for your own decisions and safety.

Where the data comes from

Forecast, marine, air-quality and place data come from Open-Meteo, under CC BY 4.0. The rain radar is from RainViewer, on a map © OpenStreetMap contributors. We don't control these services, and their data can be late, missing or wrong.

Free, and as it is

GoDay is free. We provide it as it is and as available. We may change, pause or stop any part of it at any time, and we don't promise it will always be available, accurate or free of errors.

Fair use

Use GoDay to plan your own days. Don't overload it, scrape or copy it at scale, try to break into it, or use it for anything unlawful.

Liability

As far as the law allows, C9 Apps isn't liable for any loss, injury or damage that comes from using GoDay or relying on its ratings. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law that can't be excluded.

Ours, and others'

GoDay's name, design, ratings and words belong to C9 Apps. Weather data and maps belong to their providers and are used under their licences.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using GoDay after a change means you accept it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, and disputes go to its courts.
